Product Overview
The DCode DCRP30 is a 3-inch direct thermal receipt printer, made in India, for counters that print all day. It runs at 230β260 mm/s at 203 DPI across a 72 mm print width, and carries an auto-cutter rated for one million cuts β so the bill is cut and handed over without anyone tearing at the paper. Direct thermal means no ink and no ribbon: the roll is the only thing you reorder.
This is the printer for the busy end of Indian retail β supermarkets, restaurants and QSR kitchens, wholesale counters, hotels, petrol pumps and any shop where a queue builds at peak hour. It takes paper from 48 mm up to 80 mm, so one machine covers both 80 mm customer bills and narrow token slips. USB + LAN, USB + Bluetooth and RS232C + USB + LAN builds mean it fits a single counter PC, a network of billing terminals, or a legacy serial POS.

Why Choose This Product?
The auto-cutter is the reason most shops move up from a 2-inch printer, and it is the DCRP30's strongest point. Rated at a million cuts, it removes the most irritating part of a busy counter β a staff member tearing a bill against a plastic edge while three people wait. Add 230β260 mm/s and a 100 km print head, and this is a machine built to be hammered rather than babied.
The Indian-brand angle is practical, not sentimental. DCode is an Indian POS hardware brand with local service and locally stocked spares β the difference between a printer back on the counter this week and one dead for a month waiting on an import. If you bill only a few dozen customers a day and do not need a cutter, the smaller DCRP20 saves you money; the DCRP30 earns its place when volume is real.
Applications
Supermarket and departmental store checkout
Long bills with dozens of lines, GST split and a UPI QR at the foot, cut automatically and handed over. The LAN interface lets several checkout terminals share printers on the shop network.
Restaurant billing and kitchen KOT
Fast enough to fire kitchen order tickets back to back through a dinner rush. Put one DCRP30 on the cash counter for bills and a second in the kitchen for KOTs.
Wholesale and distribution counters
The 80 mm width fits wide item descriptions, HSN codes and tax columns on one legible line β which matters on a GST invoice a buyer will file. RS232C on one variant keeps older serial POS systems in service.
Hotels, petrol pumps and service desks
Reliable unattended cutting and a 100 km head suit sites that print continuously through long shifts.

How to Use
- Connect the power adaptor, then plug in USB, LAN or serial to suit your variant. For LAN, run the cable to the same switch as your billing terminals.
- Install the DCode DCRP30 driver, or add it as a generic ESC/POS printer. On LAN, assign a fixed IP so it does not move after a router restart.
- Open the cover, drop in the roll with the printing side facing the head, pull a short tail out and close the cover until it clicks.
- Press FEED to confirm paper moves, then print a self-test page to check the width matches your roll.
- Set 80 mm paper in your billing software and print one live GST bill to check the totals, HSN lines and UPI QR sit inside the printable area.
