The DCode DC3R1 and DC3R3 are 3-inch direct thermal receipt printers built on the same chassis, separated only by speed and ports. The DC3R1 runs at 230 mm/s with USB + LAN. The DC3R3 runs at 260 mm/s and adds a serial port, giving USB + LAN + RS232. Both print 72 mm wide at 576 dots per line, both carry an auto-cutter, and both drive a cash drawer at DC 24V/1A — so the till pops open the moment the bill prints.

How to Use

1. Connect the power adaptor, then plug in USB, LAN, or RS232 on the DC3R3. For LAN, run the cable to the same switch as your billing terminals.
2. Install the DCode driver for your OS, or add it as a generic ESC/POS device. On LAN, assign a fixed IP so it does not change address after a power cut.
3. Open the cover, drop in an 80 mm roll with the printing side facing the head, pull out a short tail and close the cover firmly.
4. Run the bundled Windows or Linux test utility to print a self-test page and confirm the interface, IP and paper width.
5. Set 80 mm paper in your billing software, connect the cash drawer if you use one, and print a live GST bill to check the layout.
