How It Works
The Voltage Sensor Module 25V uses a simple resistive voltage divider consisting of a 30kOhm and a 7.5kOhm resistor in series. When a DC voltage (up to 25V) is applied across the screw terminal input, the divider scales it down by a factor of 5, producing an output between 0V and 5V. This scaled output is fed to the analog pin of your microcontroller, which reads it via its built-in ADC. By multiplying the ADC reading by the divider ratio in your code, you can accurately reconstruct the original input voltage.
