How It Works
The TTP223 IC continuously monitors the capacitance of the onboard touch pad. When a finger approaches or touches the pad, the change in capacitance is detected and the module outputs a digital signal on the SIG pin. In the default momentary mode, the output goes HIGH while the pad is touched and returns LOW when released. In toggle mode (enabled via solder jumper), each touch alternates the output between HIGH and LOW - perfect for on/off switching applications.
