The Seeed Studio XIAO nRF52840 Sense Plus pairs Nordic's low-power nRF52840 MCU with an onboard 6-axis IMU and a PDM microphone, giving a single tiny board both motion and audio sensing without extra breakout modules. Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 with a built-in antenna and NFC support covers most short-range wireless needs out of the box.
Deep sleep draws just 5μA, and onboard Li-ion charging makes it straightforward to build genuinely battery-run wearables and sensor nodes that last. The 21x17.8mm board keeps 20 GPIOs accessible via both 2.54mm headers and 1.27mm castellated pads, so it works equally well breadboarded or reflow-soldered onto a custom PCB. Development is supported through Arduino, CircuitPython, MicroPython, and TinyML toolchains.
