Seeed Studio 24GHz mmWave Human Static Presence Sensor for XIAO
Shipping calculated at checkout.
This Seeed Studio sensor uses 24GHz millimetre-wave radar to detect human presence — including people sitting still, not just moving — which is where PIR motion sensors typically fail. It's built to plug straight into Seeed's XIAO development boards, so it drops into a compact project without extra wiring or a separate breakout.
Because mmWave radar reads reflected signal characteristics rather than heat or motion, it keeps reporting "occupied" when someone in the room isn't moving — useful for occupancy-aware lighting, HVAC control, and security systems that shouldn't switch off just because a person is sitting still. The small module size keeps it practical for space-constrained enclosures.
- 24GHz mmWave radar sensing
- Detects both moving and stationary presence
- Direct fit for Seeed XIAO boards
- Compact form factor for embedded builds
Useful for Indian makers building smart-home occupancy sensing, energy-saving automation, or security add-ons.
