How It Works
The HX711 module acts as a bridge between an analog load cell and a digital microcontroller. A load cell is essentially a Wheatstone bridge of strain gauges that produces a tiny millivolt-level voltage proportional to the applied weight. The HX711 amplifies this minuscule signal using its programmable gain amplifier (PGA), then converts it to a 24-bit digital value using its internal sigma-delta ADC.
