This signal is processed by the onboard LM393 comparator, which compares it against a threshold set via the potentiometer. If the signal exceeds the threshold, the digital output pin goes LOW (active), signaling flame detection. Simultaneously, the analog output provides a proportional voltage reading that reflects flame intensity and distance, allowing for more granular monitoring and data logging.
