How It Works
The BMP180 module uses a piezoresistive MEMS sensor element manufactured by Bosch Sensortec. Your microcontroller sends a command to initiate a measurement, waits for the conversion time (which varies by oversampling setting from approximately 4.5 ms to 25.5 ms), and then reads back the raw data registers.
