How It Works
- Input Side: Connect VCC to 5V, GND to ground, and IN to a digital GPIO pin on your microcontroller. When the IN pin receives a LOW signal, the optocoupler activates the relay coil.
- Relay Action: The electromagnetic relay switches its internal contacts - the COM terminal connects to NO (Normally Open) when energized, or stays connected to NC (Normally Closed) when idle.
- Output Side: Wire your high-voltage load (lamp, fan, motor, solenoid, etc.) through the screw terminals using the COM and NO or NC connections depending on your desired default state.
